Not fewer than five Nigerians have been listed by Spanish outlet, ESPN as part of the 25 best athletes in Africa.
The website published the list as Nigerian footballer Asisat Oshoala led the Nigerian delegation with notable absentees including John Obi Mikel and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
Oshoala whose heroics has helped Nigeria in the past since her emergence as she, not only shine for Nigeria but also at club level having played for top clubs in England, Spain and now the U.S.
