Legendary American rapper, Curtis James Jackson III, popularly known as 50 Cent, has revealed his current favorite song, and it’s none other than ‘Me & U’ by Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Tems.
In a viral clip from a recent interview, 50 Cent shared, “My current song on repeat is ‘Me & U’ by Tems,” highlighting his love for the hit track.
‘Me & U,’ the lead single from Tems’ critically acclaimed debut studio album Born In The Wild, recently sparked widespread debate after it won the Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2024 BET Awards.
The win stirred controversy as some critics argued that a song by a secular artist should not have been placed ahead of gospel icons like Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, CeCe Winans, and Maverick City Music.
