As part of activities to mark his first year in office, Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellecy Pastor Umo Eno, today commissions 236 units Grace Estate in Ibiono and Ikono Local Government Areas and 36 units of Two Bedroom flats ARISE Compassionate Homes for the Homeless.
- Adding to the commissioning, the governor directed for immediate construction of Police Station, Model Primary School, Model Health Centre, Mini Market and Recreational facilities to enhance living conditions in the estate.
Putting things in place for the civil servants, the governor announced allocation of 150 houses to Civil Servants from Grade Levels 1 -8 Free of Charge through an Expression of Interest and an open , transparent draw to be held soon at the State Amphitheater .
He also approved commencement of the construction of another set of 164 units of Arise Compassionate Homes for the homeless.
Pastore Eno in details assured his people of the construction of Use – Ikot Amama , Ikpanya Roads, and General Hospital in Ibiono Local Government Area as well as the other road projects in Ikono Local Government Area.
He added that caution must be observed especially by Youths and Community leaders against disruption of projects in their localities.
