Ademola Lookman Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward has been awarded the winner of the UEFA Europa League goal of the season.

Lookman scored a hat-trick to help his side lift their first major trophy in over 50 years and also ended Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten record.

Atalanta became the first team to defeat Leverkusen this season thanks to Ademola Lookman’s three spectacular goals.

Having won the man of the match award in the night, his second goal of the night was awarded the best goal of the tournament.

Lookman picked up the loose ball with all Leverkusen defenders in front of him including the defensive midfielders but was brave enough to tap the ball inside Leverkusen’s final third, going past Granit Xhaka to slot home a wonderful curler that can beat any goalkeeper in rhw world.

Lookman beat his international teammate, Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Olympic Marseille and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao to the award.

The winger’s second goal in the 3-0 final win against Bayer Leverkusen was picked as the best for the season.
