In celebration of the 82nd birthday of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the church recently conducted a digital transformation program called ‘A World of Unlimited Possibilities’ under its Continent 3s initiative.

This future boot camp, valued at over N400 million, has positively impacted more than 1,000 Nigerian youths. During an interaction with journalists, Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye, the Personal Assistant and Son of the General Overseer, highlighted that this pioneering initiative in Africa aims to combat poverty by spreading digital knowledge and skills.

He said that he’s part of the incubator team in the initiative and the aim is to assist the average Nigerian youth. He also mentioned that they Initially had 12 thousand youths applying but over 5 thousand managed to complete the online test and they finally had 1 thousand individuals participating in the physical meeting.

He further mentioned that they’re aiming to support Nigerian youths aged 15 to 45 in understanding what will be valuable in the future job market and what skills they need to succeed. The initiative is the first of its kind in Africa, and they hope to continue with more programs.

He said they’ve completed seven days, and it’s important to continue so they can provide feedback on areas they still find challenging and it takes time to reshape someone’s mindset for the success they aim for. On average, the cost per person should have been N400,000 and if 100 people had attended, it would have totaled about N400 million, but they’ve been able to subsidize it, by God’s grace.

He stated that the goal is for those who participated to establish their businesses and companies within nine months, all under the theme of “A World of Unlimited Possibilities.” By fostering this entrepreneurial mindset, they can contribute to supporting the economy.

If everyone can create job opportunities, the positive impact will extend across Nigeria, helping to reduce poverty. When one person thrives within a family, they can support others, and such individuals can then uplift their communities. It’s a wonderful way to create a ripple effect of progress and empowerment.

The CEO of Africa Mission Global, Fatai Williams, who leads a faith-based charity organization with the goal of impacting 100 million lives worldwide, emphasized that this initiative will be highly beneficial for the youth. By leveraging the digital platform, it can reach a broader segment of society.

When young people are equipped with digital skills through this initiative, they can effectively integrate into various sectors based on their digital expertise. It’s all about empowering the youth with the right tools for success in today’s digital world.
