In preparation for this year’s Eid Eld Kabir, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the state governor of Bauchi State, purchased bulls and rams, which were distributed by the ministry on Wednesday.
The Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hon. Hajara Wanka, spoke as she gave 20 bulls and 50 rams for religious organizations to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. She thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for his kind support in general and for this fantastic initiative in particular.
According to Hajara Wanka, Eid el-Kabir serves as a reminder of the value of sacrifice and is a time for introspection, thankfulness, and compassion for others. For this reason, it is important to provide a helping hand to those in need.
She said, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to our visionary leader, His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for his unwavering commitment to the welfare and happiness of the people of our State.”
She said, “His constant support towards improving the lives of our citizens is truly commendable, and today’s gesture of providing bulls and rams for Eid el-Kabir is another demonstration of our Governor’s leadership and generosity.”
In response, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs thanked Governor Bala Mohammed on behalf of the recipients and pledged to distribute the donated bulls and rams wisely.
