The Federal Government has instilled optimism regarding the provision of continuous 24-hour power supply across the nation.
Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, conveyed this assurance while addressing journalists shortly after participating in the Eid Kabir prayers at the Adeoyo praying ground in Ibadan South West local government area on Sunday.
Adelabu revealed that the various reforms initiated by President Bola Tinubu’s administration are aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the populace.
He emphasized that the people of Nigeria would soon begin to experience uninterrupted 24-hour power supply as a result of these reforms.
“Once all the reforms and transformations in the power sector are completed, the situation will be drastically improved,” Adelabu stated.
He urged the public to exercise patience, maintain confidence, and trust in the appointed leaders, assuring them that their expectations would not be disappointed.
The Minister also called for prayers for President Tinubu to help him achieve his objectives for the nation.
According to Adelabu, the President is diligently working, and his cabinet is following suit to ensure better conditions for Nigerians.
He described the current economic challenges faced by Nigerians as temporary, framing them as necessary sacrifices for the long-term benefits of Tinubu’s administration, which aims to transform Nigeria into a prosperous nation.
“We need to sacrifice, have trust, and believe in Tinubu’s leadership. Whatever hardships we are enduring today are for a better tomorrow. The President is working hard to ensure that Nigeria reclaims its position in the global community,” Adelabu concluded.
