Wizkid has sparked controversy with a cryptic post ahead of his colleague Davido’s upcoming wedding to fiancée Chioma Rowland.
Thepaan reports that Davido recently confirmed that his wedding to Chioma is set for June 25 in Lagos, despite recent infidelity allegations against him.
On Sunday evening, the DMW boss shared pre-wedding photos with Chioma on social media. Shortly after, Wizkid tweeted “Lol [lots of laughs],” causing a stir among fans.
On Monday morning, Wizkid appeared to take another dig at Davido, tweeting, “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.”
The post drew mixed reactions, with many interpreting it as a subtle jab at Chioma, who has remained supportive of Davido despite cheating rumors.
In a recent statement, Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, confirmed that she and the singer rekindled their romance between 2020 and 2022, coinciding with the period Davido was also involved with Chioma.
