In a surprising turn of events, the Disciples of Jagaban (DOJ), a prominent political group supporting President Bola Tinubu, has boldly declared that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will never hold the presidency of Nigeria.

The group, through its National Coordinator, Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, stated in Abuja, dismissing Atiku’s recent visits to former Presidents Ibrahim Babangida and Muhammadu Buhari as futile attempts to secure the presidency in 2027.

Alawuje emphasized that Atiku has nothing substantial to offer and should be completely removed from Nigeria’s political landscape. The statement unequivocally stated that President Tinubu has already set his sights on the upcoming 2027 presidential election, leaving no room for negotiation.

The DOJ highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to democracy and his refusal to shy away from the challenges he inherited upon assuming office.

Atiku’s attempts to garner support from former presidents are viewed by the DOJ as a desperate and unrealistic pursuit.

The group firmly believes that Nigerians should spare themselves the disappointment of engaging with Atiku’s fruitless endeavors. The DOJ emphasized that power stems solely from God and cannot be manipulated by individuals, regardless of their strategies to mislead the citizens.

Accusing Atiku of mounting frustration due to repeated unsuccessful attempts at the presidency, the DOJ insists that he should exit the political stage entirely.

They asserted that Atiku has nothing more to offer and, as a former vice president, deserves a certain level of respect. However, the DOJ firmly advocates for permanently banishing Atiku from the political scene, as he is deemed incapable of fulfilling his dreams.
