Renowned singer Charles Oputa, famously known as Charly Boy, has sparked public attention by expressing worry over the health of Bola Tinubu after his recent unexpected journey to London.
According to reports, President Tinubu left Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for London, England, subsequent to his attendance at the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia. Since departing Nigeria for the Netherlands on April 23, he has remained in transit.
The lack of communication from the Presidency regarding Tinubu’ s abrupt trip to London has triggered reactions from various sectors of society.

In response, Charly Boy has raised questions about Tinubu’ s well- being and criticized the Presidency for disseminating what he describes as ” very fake and twisted lies” that are causing tension in the nation.
Expressing his concerns on Monday through his social media platform, Charly Boy demanded transparency regarding Tinubu’ s health status, hinting that Tinubu might not be fit to lead Nigeria and should contemplate resigning.

He wrote: ” Where is our President? Is everything alright with him? Tinubu’ s propaganda machinery has been exacerbating tensions in the country with unfounded and distorted falsehoods, but propaganda cannot supplant economic policies. ”
” Has Peter Obi caused Nigerians to suffer like this? Did Peter Obi expose the emptiness of the APC? Is fake propaganda now the favored strategy of the APC at all levels of politics, to vilify and attack any perceived opposition using ethnic and religious biases wielded by their associates?

“Obi has borne the brunt of these malicious attacks. Nigeria is failing. Tinubu, please resign, this task is beyond you.”
Charly Boy’s remarks have reignited discussions about Tinubu’ s health and the transparency of the government concerning the well-being of public figures. The call for Tinubu’s resignation adds another layer of complexity to Nigeria’ s political landscape, highlighting the growing concerns and tensions within the nation.
