Despite the prevailing global economic challenges, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has lauded the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its exceptional performance in Nigeria.

Speaking during a visit to the APC’s National Working Committee led by Abdullahi Ganduje in Abuja, Governor Uzodinma, who also serves as the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, emphasized the party’s commitment to implementing policies aimed at addressing the economic situation inherited by President Bola Tinubu.

“The truth of the matter is that the APC has done remarkably well in Nigeria,” stated Governor Uzodinma. “The current economic challenges we face are not unique to our country; they are being experienced globally.

Under the leadership of President Tinubu, we are implementing policies to tackle these challenges head-on, and I am confident that soon Nigerians will celebrate the positive outcomes of our efforts.”

Highlighting the APC’s dominance in governance, Governor Uzodinma emphasized that the party controls 20 out of 30 states in the country, in addition to the presidency.

He expressed optimism regarding the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo and Ondo states, stating, “If election is a game of numbers, it means the majority will prevail.”

In response, Abdullahi Ganduje commended the governors’ visit and affirmed the party’s commitment to maintaining a strong relationship with its governors across the nation. “We are truly delighted and excited by your presence here today. It is a blessing for us, and we have full confidence in you,” stated Ganduje.

“We will do everything possible to foster good relationships with our governors nationwide and protect their interests. They are not only making us proud as an institution, but they are also contributing significantly to the success of our party.”

With the APC’s determination and the collaborative efforts of its governors, the party is reportedly focused on overcoming economic challenges and delivering on its promises to the Nigerian people.
