Super Eagles embattled Midfield maestro Wilfred Ndidi has signed a new three-year at Leicester City, Sky sports news confirmed.
Ndidi was out of contract last June after helping the club secure promotion back to the Premier League by winning the English Football League Championship.
The 27-year old has been a strong member of the Foxes since joining from Genk and continued his impressive form last season to help them return to the English top flight.
Ndidi made 273 appearances for Leicester City since joining in January 2017 and has gone on to score 17, goals while providing 17 assists.
The Super Eagles man has also helped Leicester win one FA Cup trophy, a community shield and the EFL title.
Ndidi was the missing ice on the cake for the super Eagles of Nigeria when they won silver at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The midfielder was sidelined due to injury and couldn’t be a part of the team, providing a vacuum that Brentford’s Frank Onyeka tried to fill.
He will now be a part of the team as they await premier league approval for his registration as they seek to retain their league status.
