The federal government has announced that 190 Nigerian citizens have been brought back from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to Bashir Idris Garga, the Director of the North Central Zone of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), these returnees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 5:45 am on Tuesday. They were welcomed and assisted by a team of government officials, led by NEMA.
Upon arrival, the returnees were registered and given the necessary documentation by the relevant agencies. They were also educated on how to conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully in their home country.
The federal government emphasizes the importance of all Nigerians being good representatives of their country, wherever they may be. This means showing patriotism, following the law, and behaving with decency and integrity.
