Nigerian music superstars Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid have garnered the highest nominations for the 2024 Africa Arts Entertainments Awards (AAEA).
Davido leads with twelve nominations, followed by Burna Boy with ten, and Wizkid with seven. The three artists will compete in several categories, including AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year.
Other notable nominees include Rema, Tems, Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Simi Kosoko, Majeed, Lojay, Ayra Starr, and Kizz Daniel.
The AAEA celebrates the achievements of African music artists, honoring their talents and success. Award categories include Best Continental Male Artiste, Continental Artiste of the Year, Continental Album/EP of the Year, Best Continental Int’l Feature, Best Continental Afro RnB Hit, and Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit, among others.
This year’s edition of the awards is scheduled to take place on August 17 in Kenya.
