Kaduna State is gearing up for local government elections as the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KAD-SIECOM) has announced that the elections will take place on 19 October. The chairperson of KAD-SIECOM, Hajara Mohammed, made the announcement during a meeting with political parties and stakeholders in Kaduna.
