Nigeria Super Eagles legendary Midfield maestro John Obi Mikel on Wednesday was spotted at the Santiago Bernabau, home of Spanish capital club Real Madrid.
Obi was seen taking pictures with his former Boss Carlo Ancelotti who is now the head coach of Real Madrid.
Obi was then spotted with a former Tottenham star, Luka Modrić who has just been awarded a one year contract at Madrid.
The former Ballon D’Or winner, Modrić will turn 39 in September and has just been spared another year after his contract was due this summer.
Modrić has achieved much with the capital club having won everything at club level and will be one of the oldest players in the squad after his Midfield partner Toni Kroos retired from active football a few weeks ago.
Another of Madrid’s most senior players just left to join the Saudi side leaving Modrić and Dani Carvajal as eldest in the Madrid Locker room.
Obi posted a picture of himself and the Croatian star with a congratulatory message on his one year contract that will take him to play until he turns 40 years.
