The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed Corps Commander Alphonses Godwin as the new Zonal Commander for Osun, Oyo, and Ondo States.
This announcement was made by Mrs. Adeboye Adebanke, the FRSC Zonal Public Enlightenment Officer, in a statement on Thursday in Osogbo.
Adebanke noted that Godwin, who joined the corps in 1996, brings extensive experience in operational activities. He has previously served as Sector Commander in Delta, Jigawa, and Plateau States.
Before this recent appointment, Godwin served as the Corps Commander, Road Marshal Assistant at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja.
Godwin holds a degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and is a fellow of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, among other professional bodies.
