Akwa Ibom State has emerged second in the ranking for States with the highest Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the country.

The list is topped by Ondo state with their candidate Olowu David scoring 367, while failing just 33 marks to reach the 400 total scores.

Ondo is ranked first alongside Oyo State and Edo State as both also produced candidates with similar score of 367.

Akwa Ibom-born Emmanuel Jeremiah scored one mark short of the top three who are tied with 366 scores.
