The Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, has passed away.Oba Adebimpe died on Wednesday following a brief illness.
He had represented the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, at the unveiling of the new Olubadan palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan North Local Government Area. This event was reportedly his final official engagement.
Oba Adebimpe was notably absent from the coronation of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, which took place at Mapo Hall.
