A woman was arrested in Ilorin today for allegedly cutting off her husband’s manhood while he was sleeping.The drastic act was reportedly fueled by suspicious of infidelity.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at their residence in the Ganmo area. Neighbors reported hearing screams and rushed to the scene, only to find the man severely injured and bleeding profusely. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
According to the police, the woman whose identity has been withheld pending further investigation, admitted to the act during questioning. She claimed she had discovered her husband’s unfaithfulness and, in a fit of rage, decided to take drastic action while he slept.
The woman was promptly taken into custody by the Ilorin Police Command and is currently being held at the police station. Authorities have assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to ascertain all the details surrounding the incident.
