Manchester United new signing Leny Yoro has announced a successful surgery on his left foot after he was injured during the preseason tour of the United States.
Yoro limped off during the Arsenal game in the United States and was touted to be sidelined for not less than two months.
The defender who arrived from Lille this summer posted, “this is not the start I wanted, but that’s football.
“The operation went well. Thank you for your many messages of support. Now, time for patience and rehabilitation work. See you soon, stronger.
The 22-year.old defender will miss Manchester United’s community Shield fixture against city rivals and premier league champions Manchester City on Sunday and greater part of the first two months of the premier league resumption.
Ten Hag disclosed that he is not worried about the defender as he is certain that he will be back sooner.
