The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Osun State has made plans to award excellence to both past and present Governors of the state. The ceremony will also honor the current Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.

The former Governors set to receive the award include Chief Bisi Akande, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, and Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.

Pastor Victor Akande, the IPAC chairman in Osun State, expressed that these former leaders deserve recognition for their dedicated service to the state during their time in office.

The awards will be presented at IPAC Day, which will take place on December 5, 2024, in Osogbo, the state capital.

In addition to the current Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, a posthumous award will be given to the first executive Governor of the state, Alhaji Isiaka Adeleke.

Pastor Akande explained, “We have recognized their outstanding achievements and significant contributions as governors. We believe this honor will serve as inspiration for future generations.”

He noted that these leaders made significant improvements in Osun State’s business, economy, society, and politics. Their contributions had a profound impact on the people, and their efforts will be remembered in history.

Akande also pointed out that some of these former governors have upheld their integrity at the federal level and that their contributions are being carefully observed.
