They defeated France in a dramatic 5-3 Victory over a tough 120 minute clash.
France took the lead in the 12 minute after Millot found the back but was cancelled out six minutes later after Fermin Lopez equalised for the European Champions.
Spain took the lead in the 25th minute through Lopez who equalised and also doubled the lead to make it 3-1 through Baena in the 28th minute as the half time ended 3-1 for Spain.

Crystal Palace forward Mateta levelled up for France from the spot in the extra time of the 90. As the game went into extra time, Camello scored twice in the 100 and 120 minutes to secure Spain’s gold medal in the football event in this year’s Olympics to compliment their European Championship victory.
