Super Eagles Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has agreed a deal in principle for his transfer to join Major League Soccer (MLS) side New England Revolution.
The 24-year old will pen a three-and-half year deal with the US-based side.
Alhassan made his official Super Eagles debut for Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Midfielder was drafted to replace Leicester City Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi who was ruled out due to injury.
Alhassan followed up his super performance for Nigeria at the AFCON and was part of the two world cup qualifiers.
Alhassan was a substitute when Nigeria played a 1-1 draw at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium while also coming in against Benin Republic in Côte d’Ivoire.
He will leave Belgian Pro league side Royal Antwerp for a reported fee of around €3 million to the MLS.
