A tragic incident occurred today in the Ogijo area of Sagamu when a young boy lost his life after a deadly fall. The victim, identified as 11-year-old Tunde (surname withheld), was playing with his friends near a fenced area when the unfortunate event happened.

According to eyewitnesses, Tunde and his friends were engaged in a game when he decided to climb the fence. In a sudden slip, he fell off, and an iron spike on the fence pierced his stomach, causing severe injuries.

Despite efforts by locals to rush him to the nearest hospital, Tunde succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
