President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the 23rd Chief Justice of Nigeria, awaiting Senate confirmation.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at 11:40 am on Friday at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja, where Kekere-Ekun took the oath of office and signed the oath register.

Justice Kekere-Ekun succeeds Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who retired on Thursday after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70.
