Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has reiterated that the club will not make a u-turn on any decision concerning players who are to represent the club.
After a busy summer market for the blues, the team has been overcrowded and coach Maresca has been firm on his words on the players he doesn’t want to work with.
The club has axed some senior players and considers them not part of the project as they are all up for a summer move away from the club.
One of the players who was axed by coach Maresca was Romelu Lukaku who has secured a deal away from the club and has moved to Italian site Napoli.
Next on the list remains England international Raheem Sterling Who has been in constant negotiation with Manchester United for summer move away from the club.
Chelsea wants to include Raheem Sterling in a deal to bring Jadon Sancho to Stamford Bridge as negotiations with Manchester United are in crucial stages.
Ben Chilwell is believed to be seeking for a club away from Stamford Bridge as he was clearly told by coach Maresca that he has no future in the club.
Some speculations appeared in the media on Wednesday that Manchester United wanted to table a bid for the England left back but according to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United is not interested as they believe that they have enough cover for the left back position.
Despite Luke Shaw and Malacia being absent due to injuries, Manchester United still has two players who can play in the left back position with Diego Dalot playing as a left back in the opening two Premier League games.
New signing Mazraoui who is a rightback can also fill in the left back position and remains one of the reasons Manchester United isn’t interested in Chilwell.
“All the players who in this moment are training apart will 𝐍𝐎𝐓 get any minutes in case they stay, for sure”. Maresca said.
Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah and Armando Broja are among players expected to leave.
