Manchester United Midfielder Mason Mount has sustained an injury that is set to sideline him for weeks.
The England international made the announcement of his unavailability in United’s upcoming fixtures.
“During the last game I picked up a minor muscle issue. I’ll be out for few games”. Mount said.
“I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be, I felt sharp and ready”.
“I wanted you to hear from me how frustrated I am”. The Midfielder added.
Mount has been an integral part of Erik Ten Hag’s team this season, starting the opening two premier League fixtures against Fulham and Brighton and Holve Albion.
United recorded a 1-0 win against Fulham at Old Trafford before falling 2-1 to Brighton at the Amex.
He will miss United’s game against Liverpool on Sunday as specific date is not yet announced for his return.
