Super Eagles stand-in captain William Troost-Ekong has led eight other stars for early arrival at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo.
The camp was open on Monday and nine internationals have already arrived from overseas.
William Troost-Ekong who just signed with a Saudi Arabia side Al Kholood first arrived with Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Olisa Ndah, Taiwo Awoniyi and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Two other arrivals on the same day came to join the camp Wilfred Ndidi and Amas Obasegie.
Nigeria will play against the Benin Republic in a crucial African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
The last time the two sides met was in a World Cup qualifier in Côte d’Ivoire where Benin defeated Nigeria thanks to a 2-1 scoreline.
The game will be Nigeria’s first game of the qualifying round for the AFCON and the Cheetahs remains a good test for Austine Eguavoen’s side before they travel to Kigali to face Rwanda three days later.
