In a heartwarming and unexpected gesture, famous Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, brought joy to passengers on Lagos’ Blue Line Train and BRT bus.

The Afrobeats star surprised commuters with an impromptu concert and gifts, creating an unforgettable experience.

In a now-viral video circulating on social media, D’banj can be seen dancing with an elderly woman on the train while other passengers enthusiastically joined in, singing along to a track from his latest album, The Entertainer.

The journey began at Leventis bus stop, continued to the Marina train station, and concluded at the National Theatre station. Along the way, D’banj not only entertained passengers but also showed his generosity by covering their transportation costs. He even loaded passengers’ Cowry Cards with the fare, ensuring everyone travelled for free.

This unique and thoughtful act has further endeared D’banj to his fans, who praised him for his down-to-earth and generous nature.
