The award offers significant cash prizes, with the first prize winner receiving $30,000, followed by $20,000, $15,000, $10,000, and $10,000 for the second through fifth-place winners. To be eligible, applicants must be owners or co-owners of a startup that meets specific criteria, including receiving less than $4 million in funding and being founded within the last five years. The startup must also have a minimum viable product.
The application process involves three stages: submissions, a mentorship program, and the final selection of winners. This comprehensive approach ensures that applicants receive guidance and support throughout the process.
