Otunba Emmanuel Fayose, a prominent figure in Ekiti’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a noted philanthropist, has called for the ousting of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections across all levels.

Fayose, a former aspirant for the House of Representatives and founder of the Otunba Fayose Foundation, emphasized that the current economic struggles and suffering cannot be overstated.

He pointed out that citizens are enduring severe hardships due to the soaring prices of food and essential goods.

“With the economy in decline, the situation is deteriorating, and there seems to be no hope for the people,” he stated.

Fayose encouraged the youth to take action by voting the APC out of power in the upcoming elections, expressing that hope has nearly vanished.

He also challenged President Bola Tinubu to step down, asserting that nothing is functioning effectively in the country at this time.

In addition, Fayose congratulated Dare Adeleke, the newly appointed caretaker chairman of Ekiti PDP, urging him to revitalize the party and enforce discipline among its members.

“I wish Adeleke all the best and call on him to strengthen the party and uphold its constitution—no one is above the rules,” he said.

“Anti-party activities should be actively discouraged, and those who engage in them must face consequences.

“The party has a solid chance of reclaiming control in the state and nationwide in the upcoming elections, as voters are weary of the current APC and are craving change in light of the ongoing challenges,” Fayose concluded.
