Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has handed new signing Manuel Ugarte his first start in their league cup tie against Barnsley.
United hosts the league side in the league cup on Tuesday and Ugarte makes his first club start since his arrival from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
The Uruguayan international made his United debut in their 3-0 thumping of Southampton at the St Mary’s in the league last timeout and is in line for another appearance.
