Former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has signed a deal in principle for his permanent transfer to Greek side AEK Athens.
Martial left United in the summer and was on course for a new adventure but a deal to Brazilian side Flamingo failed to materialise.
The France international has found himself a new club and will be in Greece for at least until the summer of 2027.
It has however been reported that his salary will be around €2.5 million annually which is far from what he earned at United.
The former Monaco man arrived at Manchester United with high expectations and his instant impact on his debut against Liverpool meant a lot to the player and the club.
But a career filled with injuries hindered his progress and the club needed to offload his huge wages while also bringing in younger talents that will help the club shortly.
