Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu on her 64th birthday, commending her as “a compassionate, kindhearted woman and a strong pillar of support for President Bola Tinubu.”

In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Senator Tinubu for her leadership and positive impact in both private and public life. He noted that, as a former First Lady of Lagos and a three-term senator, she has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to service, particularly to women and children.

Sanwo-Olu highlighted Senator Tinubu’s contributions since becoming First Lady of Nigeria on May 29, 2023, through initiatives like the “Renewed Hope Initiative,” aimed at improving the lives of countless families. He also recognized her legacy of social justice advocacy and philanthropy during her tenure in the Senate and as Lagos’ First Lady.

“Senator Oluremi Tinubu deserves to be celebrated for her selfless service to Lagos State and Nigeria,” Sanwo-Olu said. “She has made a lasting mark as an advocate for the voiceless, a champion of social justice, and a source of relief for the underprivileged.”

Describing her as a “great ambassador” for Lagos, the governor acknowledged her significant role in both the state’s and nation’s development. He concluded by praying for her continued strength, good health, and further service to Nigeria.
