Felix Hassan Hyat, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, has firmly rejected rumors regarding the postponement of the upcoming State Congress, originally scheduled for September 21, 2024.
In a statement released by committee member Abraham Alberah Catoh, Hyat reassured party members that the congress will take place as planned.
“I want to make it clear that the circulating information suggesting the PDP State Congress set for 21/9/2024 has been postponed is completely unfounded,” he stated.
The chairman emphasized that preparations for the congress are on track, urging all party members to dismiss the rumors. “We encourage everyone involved in the party to disregard these false claims, as all necessary arrangements for the congress are underway,” the statement confirmed.
Additionally, the announcement called on all party officials and delegates to make it a priority to attend the State Congress.
