Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate Handi Danbaki has declared her readiness to face her fellow contestant, Ben, in court after he threatened legal action over accusations of sexual misconduct made by Handi and her twin sister, Wanni.

The tension stems from an incident during their time in the house, where Handi accused Ben of sexually assaulting her. While Ben has denied the allegations, Thepaan reports that he has recently threatened legal action.

In a recent interview with Classic 97.3 FM in Lagos, Handi expressed shock at Ben’s decision to escalate the issue, especially since he had previously apologized.

She explained, “I forgot about the issue because after the Saturday night party, he [Ben] came to my ear and said, ‘That’s not who I am, that’s not who I am.’ He was crying to my ear, and I was like, okay, I will drop the case.”

Despite initially letting the matter go, Handi emphasized that she stands by her experience, stating, “He did do that… I know when someone does something to me. I’m not a baby. And I will never come out to say someone did something to me when I’m not sure about it.” She made it clear that if Ben is serious about pursuing legal action, she is fully prepared, saying, “If he wants to take it legally, he should come, I’m ready for it.”

The drama between the former housemates continues to unfold as both parties gear up for what could be a high-profile legal battle.
