Manchester United’s new signing Manuel Ugarte has been handed his first start in a United shirt in a European competition.

The Uruguayan international has been named in the starting Lineup to face Dutch side FC Twente in their first game of the UEFA Europa League.

Ugarte starts in Midfield alongside Denmark international Eriksen who has been super since his integration into the first team this season.

Eriksen scored twice in United’s 7-0 thumping of Barnsley in the league cup and also made his first Premier League start in United’s goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Former Bayern Munich and Dutch international Matthijs De Ligt has been dropped to the bench as former club captain Harry Maguire regained his starting berth.

Alongside Maguire is Argentine centre-back Lisandro Martinez, Diego Dalot and Moroccan right-back Mazraoui who plays in front of Onana.

Eriksen and Ugarte play as double pivot as Bruno Fernandes sits in front of them as a number 8.

Both Marcus Rashford who was a substitute in the weekend and Amad Diallo who has been impressive since making the right wing his place starts as support for Joshua Zirkzee.

United New number 9, Rasmus Hojland is still waiting for his first start of the season after he played his first game this season in United’s goalless draw at Palace.

Mason Mount who just returned from injury has been named as a substitute alongside Casemiro and others as Malacia remains not match fit.
