Billionaire singer and entrepreneur, Rihanna, has opened up about the challenges and joys of motherhood, playfully describing being a “boy mom” as an “Olympic sport.”

The 36-year-old, who is a mother of two sons, made the statement while sharing a video clip of her first son, RZA, attempting to escape from his baby cot on her X handle (formerly Twitter).

In the video, young RZA makes several determined attempts to climb out of the cot before finally succeeding. Rihanna humorously captioned the post, “Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport.”

The Thepaan recalls that Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first son, RZA, on May 19, 2022, after confirming their relationship the previous year. The couple welcomed their second son, Riot Ross, in August 2023.

Earlier this year, speculation swirled that Rihanna might be expecting a third child, but she debunked the rumours in an interview with ET. However, she did express her desire for more children, saying she would “definitely” consider expanding her family.

In a candid interview in April, the singer revealed she had been hoping for a daughter but has only had boys so far. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy,” she shared.

Despite the challenges, Rihanna’s journey through motherhood continues to inspire and captivate her fans worldwide.
