The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to adopt a more constructive and collaborative stance when critiquing governance, rather than resorting to political maneuvering.

This appeal comes in response to the PDP’s recent comments encouraging Governor Dr. Nasir Idris to lower the cost of governance as part of their Independence Day address.

In a statement issued by the APC’s state public relations officer, Isah Abubakar Assallafi, the party underscored the necessity of unity and responsible leadership in addressing the challenges confronting Kebbi State.

Assallafi emphasized the governor’s dedication to effectively managing public resources and called for an end to unfounded allegations and divisive language.

“Kebbi State requires a united approach to tackle our shared challenges, rather than superficial criticisms that seek to sow discord,” Assallafi remarked.

He reaffirmed that the APC is committed to serving the people of Kebbi and called on political leaders to play a constructive role in the state’s advancement.

As Nigeria marks its 64th Independence anniversary, the APC reiterated its dedication to the foundational principles of unity, integrity, and progress.

Assallafi encouraged the PDP to recognize the administration’s achievements and to refrain from distorting facts for partisan advantage.

According to the APC, Governor Idris has remained focused on launching vital infrastructure projects and social welfare initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life for residents of Kebbi State.

“This administration is working diligently on road construction, educational reforms, and agricultural development to ensure that the benefits of democracy are felt throughout the state,” he concluded.
