President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria following a two-week annual leave in the United Kingdom.

He arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Saturday evening, marking the end of his working leave. Presidential aide Dada Olusegun announced the arrival on X, stating, “The eagle has landed. Welcome home, Mr. President.”

Upon his arrival, Tinubu was greeted by a group of government officials, including the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila; and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.

The president’s two-week working leave, characterized by reflection on his administration since he assumed office in May 2023, began on October 2.
