Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming governorship election in Edo State on September 21, has expressed heartfelt congratulations to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, in honor of his 8th coronation anniversary and birthday celebrations.
In a letter personally signed by Ighodalo, he praised the remarkable qualities of the monarch that have endeared him to the community at large.
“Your unwavering dedication to fostering peace, social development, and progress has firmly established you not only as a guardian of our rich history but also as a transformative leader for both current and future generations,” Ighodalo articulated in his message.
The letter continued, stating: “Your Majesty, your reign has been marked by a deep commitment to safeguarding our cherished cultural heritage and an extraordinary love for your people. Your tireless efforts toward peace and progress have solidified your role not just as a historical custodian but as a visionary leader.”
Ighodalo concluded with well wishes, saying, “May this anniversary usher in renewed strength and divine blessings for you and the Kingdom. I wish you continued good health, longevity, and the wisdom necessary to steer the Benin Kingdom.”
