The youth faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, under the leadership of Mazi Chukwuma Opkalaezeukwu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Amb. Dr. Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu on her well-deserved appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs (State).

In a statement released to the press in Enugu, spokesperson Mazi Chika Art Adiele praised Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of the late Biafran leader Dim Odumegwu Emeka Ojukwu, as an exemplary figure known for her excellence and dedication.

The statement highlights, “Amb. Bianca Ojukwu is not only a distinguished Nigerian diplomat and lawyer but also a successful businesswoman and celebrated beauty pageant titleholder. She has earned multiple international accolades, including ‘Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria,’ Miss Africa, and Miss Intercontinental.”

Previously, she served as a Presidential Adviser and held the position of Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana before becoming the Ambassador to Spain in 2012.

“It is important to recognize that over the years, this remarkable and graceful woman has consistently demonstrated her commitment and nobility through her service to our nation,” the statement continued.

Additionally, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth urged President Bola Tinubu to consider their request for a National Youth Conference, emphasizing that such an initiative would help him effectively lead the country.

The statement reads, “We also implore Mr. President to establish a comprehensive framework for initiating the National Youth Conference promptly, allowing him to focus on the significant challenges of nation-building.”

The youth group expressed their firm belief that President Tinubu would respond to their call as the nation’s leader.
