LASTMA’s Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, Adebayo Taofiq disclosed that the fake traffic officer was apprehended through a resolute operation conducted by officials, while the man was detained on Oshodi Bridge. He noted that the individual had been posing as an official to intimidate and extort money from commercial and private motorists in the vicinity.
