Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta Believes that his side that lost the Champions League game at Inter Milan are good enough to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners boss was quoted by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano as saying he is optimistic that a win against Chelsea is possible.
“The way we’ve played tonight against Inter. The team can go to Chelsea and WIN”. Arteta said.
Arsenal fell to a second successive 1-0 defeat after falling to Newcastle at St James’ Park with a similar scoreline.
The London club is yet to score a goal in 180 minutes of football which is a worry for the coach and the team.
The good news for Arsenal as they prepare to take on Chelsea remains the return to fitness of captain Martin Odegaard who was a 93rd minute substitute against Inter Milan after coming on for Kai Havertz.
Inter stunned the Gunners via a stoppage time goal in the first half after Turkish star Calhanoglu scored his 19th penalty after joining Inter Milan.
The Gunners will be looking to continue their search for a title when they travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday with the aim of either emulating the same result as Manchester United had against Chelsea at the weekend (1-1 draw) or push for a win.
