Super Eagles forward Umar Sadiq has fired back on a journalist who questioned his super Eagles inclusion for the qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda later this month.

The Nigeria international responded sarcastically to a journalist who argued that the forward does not deserve a call to the Super Eagles team following his poor run of form this season.

Sadiq who plays his trade with Real Sociedad in the Spanish la Liga has played eight games this season without a goal which grounded the basis for questioning of his invitation.

“E pain you?” Was Sadiq’s response via his social media account. This is not the first time the giant height forward is in controversy with the Media.

A few days until the 2023 edition of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON), Sadiq withdrew from the squad with the claims he had sustained an injury during the training tour.

But a few days later after travelling back to Spain, the forward was seen in a video training with the Real Sociedad team which sparked questions on his commitment to the National team.
