The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced the commencement of the distribution of the 45,000 uLesson Tablets to foster educational advancement in the region.
As announced by the commission, the distribution is partnered by Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) to help ease the burden of education in the Niger Delta region.
“Since the launch of our Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Program on April 25, 2023, we have been committed to fostering partnerships that contribute to the sustainable development of the Niger Delta Region.” The commission announced.
“Today, we are excited to announce our unique collaboration with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and to kick off the distribution of our uLesson educational tablets.
“The uLesson is an innovative solution that combines digital technology with educational resources, curriculum, and values.
“The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has acquired 45,000 lesson tablets, marking the first major investment of this kind by any organization on the African continent.
Having previously collaborated with organizations such as LNG and WHO, the NDDC is now launching this partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative to significantly transform the educational sector in the Niger Delta.” Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, MD/CEO of NDDC made the declaration at the State House in Abuja during the launch and flag-off of the uLesson Educational Tablets in collaboration with the NDDC and RHI.
