Manchester United summer signing Noussair Mazraoui has been rated the best tackler in the premier league so far.
The Moroccan right-back joined Manchester United from Bayern Munich in the summer in a reported €15 million deal that could possibly rise to €20 million in add-ons.
The former Bayern Munich man has been a key figure in the United set-up since joining the club.
He has featured at both the left-back and as a right-back to both former managers Erik Ten Hag and Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
The defender has been adjudged by recent statistics to be the player with the highest tackle won in the premier League this season so far.
He has successfully won 39 tackles so far this season with Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo coming second with 38.
Despite United’s struggle, Mazraoui has been superb defensively, helping André Onana to keep five clean sheets this season so far, coming second in that regard.
After leaving for international duty, Mazraoui will return to continue where he stopped with his new manager Rubén Amorim who just joined Sporting Lisbon to take over on a permanent basis from Erik Ten Hag.
