President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day state visit to France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron.
The visit aims to strengthen Nigeria-France relations and explore new opportunities in agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement, innovation, and energy transition.
Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga disclosed that Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, will be welcomed at Les Invalides and the Élysée Palace by President Macron and his spouse, Brigitte, for ceremonial and bilateral meetings.
During the visit, Tinubu and Macron will discuss strategies to enhance youth skill development in automation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
They will also address shared goals in finance, solid minerals, trade, and investments.
The leaders will participate in sessions of the France-Nigeria Business Council, focusing on private sector contributions to economic growth.
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and Brigitte Macron will engage on initiatives supporting women and vulnerable populations.
The visit will conclude with a state dinner hosted by Macron, with key government officials accompanying Tinubu on the trip.
