Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has encouraged the youth in Anambra to become part of the solution rather than contribute to societal problems.

Speaking at the second edition of the Anambra Youth Conference held at the International Convention Centre in Awka over the weekend, Soludo emphasized the critical role of youth participation in societal development and called for a return to the values of previous generations.

“The society needs to start inquiring about how people earn their livelihood. I feel inspired when I see young entrepreneurs across the state working diligently to build their futures instead of seeking handouts,” Soludo remarked.

“Let us join forces to uplift our society,” he added.

The Governor expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria, citing the impressive potential he sees in the youth of Anambra. He reiterated his call for young people to embody the change they wish to witness in their communities.

Soludo also highlighted his administration’s commitment to the youth, noting, “My government prioritizes young people, as evidenced by the composition of my cabinet. We have a comprehensive agenda aimed at empowering our youth, and we are eager to roll out initiatives that they can benefit from.”
